This group is for walkers. This group is for walk runners. This group is for women striving for new PRs. All group workouts are lead by certified coaches and long runs are supported. While there may not be someone exactly your pace, you can bet you will always have eyes on someone in the group so you are not alone.
New this year, I have enlisted some additional awesome women to help you along in your journey. Heather Burd will be joining me as a USATF certified coach and assisting or leading various group workouts. Heather is new to Jax from Virginia (she moved here with her NEW husband who is a navy chaplain) She is currently the cross country coach at Fletcher High and works part time at First Place Sports. Jena Pugh will be leading our group in strength routines to keep us injury free and running strong. Tracy Marko will be leading the group in yoga, because lord knows we all need a good stretch. Lastly, expert licensed dietician/nutritionist Kelsey Beckmann will be guiding us through fueling our runs for performance while navigating the pitfalls of weekly nutrition while training.
This year it is my personal goal for every single person in this group to achieve more than a run a goal. I want you to feel confident about the UNIQUE athlete that you are. I want you to embrace your weaknesses and strive to improve them rather than use phrases like, “ill never be that fast” or diminish your hard efforts by calling yourself slow. It is my mission for you to be proud and confident. I want you to run without shame. I want you to push yourself so far out of your comfort zone that you cant help but be proud of what you have accomplished. I want your self esteem to soar. I want you to feel worthy of calling yourself an athlete because you are. And you are just beginning.

We meet as a group 3 days a week Monday/Tuesday are essentially the same workout (strength focused) Wed/Thursday same workout (speed focused)
Weekend workouts we will do as a whole group and rotate around town either on Saturdays or Sundays. It will vary week to week. Long Runs are Endurance focused On Fridays Kelsey, Jena or Tracy will be hosting FACEBOOK Live chat on their areas of expertise- you can watch these at anytime. I The program costs $225 and includes a training plan, 3x week coach training opportunities and supported long runs through Feb 9
